The "Rio-Espera" has a length of 6.6 m. and is the next largest model after "Parana" and "Bonito." This model is offered open (model "TA,"), i.e. with sun pads above the engine compartment, or closed without the sun pads.
The Espera has two rows of seats and, depending on the model, sun pads above the engine compartment. The backrest of the front seat can be folded down to create another reclining area.
The retractable sun canopy comes as part of the standard configuration.
The original Espera was 6.6 m in length and equipped with a 185 hp Chris-Craft engine. More recent models are up to 6.9 m. long and the customer can choose between either a Chris-Craft engine with 230 hp or a Chrysler with 330 hp.
Later "Espera models" have a deck that protrudes slightly beyond the transom, resembling the "Parana" model. In later "Espera models" the front bench is replaced by individual seats.
